Unlike the 2010 Earthquake which forced people into public places, this earthquake has mainly impacted people who have land around their homes. Still, camps have formed where people in remote areas have settled in hopes of benefiting from aid. Many areas in the Sud, Nippes and Grand Anse departments away from population centers have not received aid on month after the earthquake.
